Did anyone here the new black National Anthem that the lady sang at a event earlier this week? It is OUR COUNTRYS MUSIC with all the words altered!! If this is going to be a trend it would be nice to know it up front, so i will not have to attend any of those events.
Is it just me or does it feel that every day we wake up our great country is slipping a little farther away from us?:headbang |

I agree about our country slipping away little by little but, do you have any links to this event, or know what event it was???? I hadn't heard this until now.

Well, all I can say is that, 30 years ago, anyone caught wearing a flag shirt/pants patch/jacket, in anything other than on official(police, fire, military) was blasted as unpatriotic.
Nowadays, a ton of folks dress in flag shirts, jackets, and the like, and no one gives it a second thought or a negative comment..... Why are things so different now? - it's still the SAME flag! Personally, this is a bit of an insult to the anthem, IMO, but she has the right to show her disrespect....just like flag-burners. I may not like what they do, but in a free country, they are exercising their right of expression..... |

I must disagree with u about people wearing a flag shirt or jacket. My dad bought me a flag shirt on my 18th birthday in 1973 My dad who is 83 now and was on the landing of D day in WWII told me to wear it proud son. Never through it on the floor always keep it hanging when not wearing it. Mark |

Sickening. Just one more entertainer "dissing" the country that gives her the freedom to trash it.
