Normally I take 465 to 69 and up that way, however I will be getting a later start then normal on friday as I have to drop the twins off with grandma at 430-5ish. (430 in speedway or 5 in brownsburg not sure which yet) this puts me hitting 465 and 69 right in the middle of rush hour (5-530) and with the construction there, not sure how bad the traffic is. I can avoid the area completely by taking 32 to 37 and going up that way, it is a bit further out of the way since i have to go up to 32 first but with the added time does anyone know if it would be faster then 465 to 69 with all the construction and traffic????? I have never gone that way.

I am not worried about seating as I am driving up on Thursday to mark my seat and get my tent set up for overnighting on Friday. but would still like to get to the track as quick as possible.

It's a real crap shoot no matter which way you go. Unfortunately, you can't predict what will happen with I-69/I-465 at that hour of the day especially on Friday. Not sure if there is a concert at Klipsh (sp?) or not but that also plays into it if they do.

State Road 32 from Westfield through Noblesville to State Road 37 also can become congested. Too many stop lights from Westfield east to Noblesville.

If you are leaving Brownsburg, I would probably take St Rd 267 up to State Road 32 and then hit US 31 in Westfield. I can take you through the country from there if you prefer. PM me and I will get you there the back way if you are interested.

We live in Marion whenever I have to go to Indy for work the quickest way has always been 32 to 37 and avoiding 465/69 all together at that time of day. Any other time it takes about the same amount of time but I find 37 much quicker during rush hours. Hope this helps!

I live in whitestown so getting to 32 is not a problem from brownsburg i know the best ways. my main concern is like you said 32 thru noblesville to 37, then up 37, not sure if it is faster. I have never been north of elwood on 37 so not sure how the road is. Its a crap shoot no matter what I know. trying to find the best option though.

FYI. 32 is closed just east of where 267 goes to it. If anyone is planning that route they need to go east on 300 (4 way stop just north of 65) to 500 (first road on the left) then take that north to 32.

Since you know the best way to get to St Rd 37, then I would recommend that over I-69 for sure. St Rd 37 north of Elwood is a decent two lane highway and once you are north of Elwood you will only have a couple of stops. One will be a 4 way stop at St Rd 26 and the other will be when you turn onto US 35 just south of Marion. That will take you into Jonesboro/Gas City and the race track is east of Gas City. If you need anything, let me know.

I have your problem whenever i drive to GC from work(Plainfield) I usually go 421(Michigan Rd) to 32, east to 31, north on 31 to 26(on the south end of Kokomo) then east to 37. Kinda weird way but usually very little traffic on 26 vs 32.

looking at a map looks like 31 north to 296th st then that across to 37 looks the best way. puts you just south of elwood. then from elwood to GC. I don't know. Have yet to find the best way over there after making trips up there for 5-6 years. I normally just leave early and miss all the traffic on 465 and 69.

I might get screwed out of going anyway if this stupid TS Chantal messes up my flights home. I am set to fly right through the Caribbean Wednesday. And yep you guess it the storm will be right there taking the exact route of the flights. Lucky me.

State Road 19 starts in downtown Noblesville at State Road 32 right at the bridge.

State Road 26 was closed east of US 31 for construction on the Kokomo bypass when I went through that area a few weeks ago. I took 31 north to SR 22 instead and took it to Gas City.
