I doubt this will be a good thing. According to the track's website the track is still owned and operated by the Sun Prairie Volunteer fire department. This news just came out on the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:
Sun Prairie soon will have a combined fire and emergency medical services department operated by the city under a new plan, the Wisconsin State Journal reports. Under the proposal, the Sun Prairie Volunteer Fire Department, created in 1891, will end its run on Jan. 1. The mayor said the change was prompted by response times, and the city-operated EMS system has quicker response than the volunteer department. Some volunteer firefighters said the city just wants to assert control over the department. Here's a larger article from Madison: http://host.madison.com/wsj/news/loc...ff720d55d.html

This article makes me wonder what happens next? I'm not sure what to think here?
