Gas Prices in Indy have shot up to 4.25, gas up if you see it cheaper. Looks like some expensive trips for those touring Illinois and Pennsylvania this week.

That's shot up since I was over a few weeks ago, sure it was around $3.78
Price of petrol (Gas) has remained static over here for over a month. However, it's around $8.00 a gallon over here in England! |

I was buying Super at the BP on 71st Street for around 4 bucks and up, and that was even before Memorial Day Weekend . . . . the cheapest I saw on my road trip was 3.50 in Arkansas. This weekend I filled up at Sam's for 3.30. . .

Yeh, it HAD been $3.47 for a couple weeks, then Sunday night it went to $3.999, now it's DOWN to $3.879, and diesel is about the same, I can pull cheaper with my 7.3, than I ever could with a gas motor, and a lot less strain on it. Bob

Leave for Jacksonville with just enough gas to get there. Fill up there. Per Gas Buddy.com they have some of the least expensive gas around, especially between Indy and there. It will also support their local economy for the area of Jacksonville Speedway. It will show our appreciateion for them putting on a Thursday night show.

Those opting to do the Easter Storm actually may have it better than we do. Much of Pennsylvania including Mechanicsburg are $3.25-$3.35. I guess Speedway .aka. GREEDway does not have the Vulcan death grip on the Keystone state like they do in our area. I sure hope we get some relief by Sprint Week. $4.25 is nothing but outragious.

Yesterday gas prices in Jacksonville were $3.87 for regular unleaded. Diesel was $3.95. Haven't checked today. Here's the gas heat map from a few mins ago for those of you heading our direction. I'll check Jacksonville prices in a little bit and repost.

I've been paying over $4.60 a gallon for years!
I cut corners anywhere I can to ensure I can afford to buy gas for my racing adventures. |

Yikes... here in southeast PA it's about $3.40-$3.50. Been around those prices for months now. (knock on wood) Went to West Virginia a few weekends ago and I saw some places for $3.27.
