Brad Dickison sent me this sad news and I thought I would share with the racing family.

Steve Reeves passed away from Cancer this past week. His showing was earlier in the week.

Steve was the father of Stevie Reeves USAC midget champ and long time NASCAR Busch driver and started off being a great sprint car driver - including at LPS. Anyway big Steve was a long time fabricator at Shores Chassis and then was a part owner of Competition Welding for about 5 years, a business my father owned for over 30 years. Steve also was the host of Steel Horse a great show about motorcyles that won many awards and was a required watch if you were a bike rider.

RIP Steve!
Steve was also there as a fabricator for Ron Stanley when they first started building 1/4 midgets in 1978 in Brownsburg.
