Happy Birthday Bro .
wow , through the years you have taught me so much and how to be so onry ... like when dad went bowling and us kids used to play hide and seek ... I hid in the dryer and what did you do ? you turned it on and I went around and around ...and just to make it even I knew how much you hated cats and you where in the car so I tossed one on you ,and I never saw you move so fast ..i'm saying sorry now after all those years that went bye but I still get alittle laugh when I do think about it ...
when I wasn't going to graduate from high school because I was flunking history you payed the music teacher to help me just so I could graduate and I did ... so for that I want to thank you and I love you with all my heart that's what mom wanted was for all of us kids to do is graduated and we did thanks to you for helping me out...
but there was a lot more in between when I got bullied on the way home from school someone kept throwing rocks at me and you settled that one real fast .. I didn't have no more problems after that...
since we have became older we do fun things like walk in the fields by gpas old place where we seen a lot of deer and sneaked up on them and we said something but not sure what it was but they where closier then we thought and we started running back to the car, and I saw snake skin and you said run Dorothy run and I said I'm tired but kept running cause I knew all about snakes and I'm scared of them..
then how we got to a stop sign we had a fire drill where we would run around the car..
then when we went deer spotting and we didn't no it was a dead end road and there was a lot of deer and we kept laughing and I wasn't even sure I could get out without going in the ditch .those where the good days we had together and I hope we have a lot more to come so today not only do I bring up some of the past memories but I also bring up some of the recent ones we had ..
but I just wanted to say thank you for those wonderful years I LOVE YOU AND HAPPY 55TH BIRTHDAY BRO and I hope you have a wonderful day at the tracks and I hope your favorite driver wins ...DAVE DARLAND
