2013 MTQRL RULEBOOK ADDENDUM 1
12.20 Fuel System E. Methanol fuel only. No fuel enhancements are allowed. Top end lubes are permissible in the manufacturer’s recommended ration. 1. Any properly licensed owner or driver that is competing in the event may protest the legality of another competitor’s fuel using the following guidelines: a. The protest must be filed in writing with the Chief Steward or Race Director within ten (10) minutes of the conclusion of the feature. i. I think all open wheel race cars should be required to run methanol for safety and the race promoters should issue several ounces of castor to to each participant to be used as top end lube and as a popcorn fragrance for the fans. I guarantee popcorn sales would increase at least 10%. Honest Dad himself ![]() ![]() |

Damn Dad.......why you gotta plant crap like that in my head? Now you got me considering getting a fuel checking system. We all know........Can't trust these gas guys..........

Here is some interesting reading on fuel additives and testing. I use to have one of these snow flake test kit. Worked pretty good. U could see the crap fall out of hot fuel like it was snowing.
