Chuck, I think the new lighting makes video taping a tad bit on the difficult side. I noticed my camera phone video looked really washed out too and made the cars hard to see.

True Jake but I got other vids from the same spot that aren't that bad. I had my finger of the light sensor or something.

Dave has a chart where the lights aren't supposed to effect cameras at all. I'll leave that to the profesionals

Holy crap...

What a palace that place appears to be now. Make no mistake, the lighting will be just fine for video, you just have to iris down a little. I can't wait to get there.

Dean just wait until you pull into the parking lot and see the stands. You would swear you were pulling into a Nascar track with the high concrete walls and raised stands.

Although it breaks my heart to see the old L-Burg go and I think it's going to make it tougher on local racers running there weekly the new track is definitely different from anything else in Indiana!!

Well said Dean, I do agree the lighting on the winners circle is a little dim but you could see em clearly. Right now the Flag is over 3-4 but it wouldn't surpise me to see some billboards and lighting around the winner circle.

I really didn't notice till sat when I walked in the main gate all the Grandstand sized Budwiser and another billboard taking the whole bottom of the turn one/two grandstands. It just screams. SHOWPLACE.

The whole infield inside the light poles was to be sodded this week. Don't know if it was or is.

Expect to park on the motorcycle track area again this week as it is fair week. It's also HARF, DARF and BARC night at LBurg.

Chuck, who will miss until sprintweek for a long planned vacation thru PA. NJ and NYC also Philly and Atlantic City.

Now if we could just get a good video platform to shoot from, it would be perfect...:wink

Im kinda surprised you guys haven't made one with fold out legs. The turn one grandstand will be excellent for one.
