Jerry and Mert Tague would like to Thank all the Lightning Mini Sprints that attended the Tulsa Shootout. Some had to travel a long way with bad weather, but, all made it safely.

Jerry had a talk with Emmitt Hahn and the Lightning Mini Sprints will be back in 2013. it isn't to early to make your plans to attend.

Did Emmitt say anything about adding an additional day for the shootout? I had heard that rumor. With over 1000 entries....I think it might be time to expand the event. It would also give them more time to re-work the track occasionally.

they did tell us in drivers meeting that next year will be 4 days. I think it would be a great idea and some of us were already talking about it at the shootout about getting us to run wing and nw. it gives us 1200 guys more chances to race thru out the week and possibly draw more cars as some drivers prefer one over the other. Just something to throw out there. Being our first time there we had a blast and im counting down the days till next year already.
