Dean was hurt real bad in a accident 7-5-99 at Angell
Park in a midget. He was a class act in his racing days. Helped many racers @ owned Quick Change Specialists. Australians coming here to race midgets were always welcome to stay at Dean's home. Like to hear stories from IOW you'd like to share. Best Regards, John |

Dean was a mans man! But, my memory plays tricks on me , I thought Dean was hurt at Madison when it was dirt? Absolutely not trying to start a pissing contest, lets be sure to keep this post about Dean. I would only see him 5-6 times a year, but he was one of the guys you looked forward to hanging out with!!

Yes, both tough days. Some of my favorite times came when I had the chance to work with the Badger guys in the 80's,and wow how could they race!!! Seems it was Vogler vs Wisc. in some of the best racing of my 54 years.

Dean was the first midget driver that I became friends with, back in the early 90s. As a lifelong fan it was great to get to know such a nice guy who always was having a good time. It was because of this friendship that I met more and more people in the sport
And was able to become involved and be included in the racing family. Thanks for bringing me in Dean!* Posted via Mobile Device |
