Hello,

Does anyone know how to increase the throttle travel on a 2008 suzuki gsxr 1000. I would like to double the travel for better throttle control.
Any info is appreciated
Thanks

We do it with a second class lever mounted on the firewall. I guarantee it will make you a much better driver.

Larry and Scott Fasse developed the Throttle Jockey specifically for the Lightning Sprints. Here is the link to it.

The best way to see how to do something like this is to head on out to the race track. Ask around and I can guarantee you that most racers would be glad to show your their idea on the subject.

Give Larry a call at Speedpartz and he can sell you exactly what you need.

The throttle jockey is what I used. The nice part is you can adjust both sides to get the travel you're looking for. I have the pedal side all the way out to the furthest hole and the cable/throttle body side all the way in so the pedal travels pretty far. It also will smooth out your foot movement when it get bumpy out there. I'll post a pic when I get home this evening so you have an idea what it looks like to give more pedal travel. Quality is top notch too. Larry at Speedpartz will get you setup right.
