Well I guess it's here, this Friday 6/13 will be Gregg Staabs last official day at USAC. This will be a sad day for all USAC drivers, owners, promoters and mostly its fans.

As most of us had read in previous post, Staab was to be released sometime at the end of May, however, the powers to be at USAC realized that they had to keep him on through the Pennsylvania Sprint Tour or they would actually have to travel and attend a dirt track.

SO, being the person Gregg is, he of course traveled to Pennsylvania, attended these races, made sure USAC looked as if it was a first class operation (like it used to be) knowing that when he returned, his job would be gone.

Gregg, brother, I wish their was more I could do or say, however, I guess the voice of the fans, owners, drivers and promoters doesn't matter to the current management team at USAC. The only thing they are concerned with is how to line their own pockets with cash, the best interest of USAC is the least of their worries.

I have know Greg since I was a boy watching him race with my dad. Worked on his cars when friends drove for him, and raced with them as greg as the man in charge. I have never seen a more classy individual from every aspect of driver, owner, or official. Greg you certainly will be missed by all TRUE sprint car fans. Good luck to you!!!!!!

Sad thing is, Kevin Miller doesn't believe Greg has the support that he truly has. He accused Greg of organinzing ("Instigating") these posts that have been in support of him on these forums. What a colossal Jerk.
There's more to tell but, I'll wait, at least, until his desk is cleaned out.

Im not going to critisize USAC as I've pretty much said all I have to say about that.

I will say that if ASCS non wing would put a midwest division here it would be very successful.

Im wondering if Kevin Miller will actually look people in the eyes after this one.
