they normally start raceing around 7pm. I beleive they start practice at 5pm. I think it is $9 or $10 at the gate. They should get around 40 cars. only class on the ticket that night, so they do a full show. 2 rounds of practice, then qualify.

I'm pretty sure that information is correct. I know the prices have went up a few dollars over the last few years, but I'm guessing that it's still between the $8-$10 range...

A decent track at Rushville... :O:

One thing that will help, would be a decent amount of rain tonight, which we will probably get. As long as it's not too much, there's some hope.

We shall see...

The local Greensburg radio station (WTRE) has been running ads all week. The ad says grandstands are $10 for adults, $2 for kids 2-12.

I know I'm in the minority but I sure miss the old Rushville track.

Rushville is a great place to watch a TQ race! I know the track may frustrate some, but over the years some of the best battles of the year have come at Rushville. Many first time winners have come at Rushville. Scott Petry and Chad Hankins to name a couple. There are Some exciting story lines for this Saturday at Rushville..
1. Will Terry Goff get his 100 career Feature win?
2. Can Scott Petry go for 2 in a row after winning last Saturday at North Vernon?
3. Will the hometown Kid Tate Martz, pick up his first feature win of the year?
4. Will Joey Paxson be driving the 1972 Jim Berry car to it's second feature win this year?

Should be a good show on Saturday night..

Since the Burg is not opening until next Saturday, I think im gonna head on up there. See ya there!

I don't think it's quite what it once was, but it's not all bad, either. It's neat from the aspect that you have trucks parked down the backstretch. Those trucks are packed with adults, kids and coolers. That is the one cool thing about Rushville.

The track just does not produce good racing, unless you're there to see people get moved out of the way. I don't know of too many drivers that like the place, honestly. There usually isn't a lot of water that finds the place, but as I said, the rain might help that. If there's enough moisture, I've seen the top come in. If it does, look out, it'll be an exciting night of events.

You've done a great job at pointing out the story lines, Chad! Terry Goff has been Mr. UMRA for quite a few years and he's not slowing down just yet.

The #29 has always been fast. It doesn't look like much, but if you get a gasser in it, it'll head towards the front. It's not a new piece, that's for sure!

Tate Martz has had some gremlins this year, but we'll see if the Lowe Chassis can get to the front. Speaking of older cars, the #22 isn't too awful new itself!

Scott Petry has improved greatly over the years. He can run up front and might very well capture the checkered, at Rushville.

Maybe the other somewhat "hometown", in the #90, will continue to beat and bang on the other drivers!:wink We shall see...

as long as Martz can keep it out of the spin cycle I think he will take the win this weekend. Everything I have seen him in this year, he has been very fast.

Rushville is a good place for first time winners, I don't think this guy has won yet (i could be wrong) my dark horse is going to be the blue #11 of Gray. He was very fast last weekend but last lap spins in the heat and consi kept him out of the feature

i think we all miss the day when the fair board really cared about the track. They haven't put the time into it that it needs to be good, hope tonights rain help. it a shame they moved this race, it used to always be on fathers day weekend. Since they did i will have to miss it. We have top row seats for the dream. I will say its hard to drive an hour and a half to watch raceing when the track is less than 5 min. from your house
