Not as wide and a little more banked (not much). Little bullring as some would say. Never been to Kokomo, so this is going by what I know of the track.
Our directors have worked hard for this. Lots of money coming out of it, should be a good show regardless of MMSA running the same night.

This place is very very fast. Has more than one grove, and stayed racey all night long. Kinda of like little Salem with more bank, and longer straights. Ain't no Kokomo. Closer to Little Bellville must be an Illinois thing. Google it on utube.
These are good people. Wish we had a motor and wish MMSA could have gotten a different make up race day . A bunch of MMSA cars where there last year. We had a good time. Real good steak house just over state line.

I'm glad somebody finally said that...I have always wondered how Ill ended up with so many similar racetracks....Belle Claire, Lincoln, Macon & Peoria look dang near identical, then Jacksonville and the former Godfrey speedway are a smidge bigger but still very similar, and I know I am leaving out a couple...and not complaining one little bit...man these tracks put on some amazing midget and micro races...
The other "Illinois Thing" I gotta ask about is.....Flagstands in the infield.....they all have em almost...I don't think there is one track in Missouri, including gokart tracks, that have the flagstand in the infield but cross the big muddy and it's hard to find a track, other than Granite City/Pontoon Beach, with a flagstand outside the track...anybody out there have any wisdom as to why it's so common in the land of Lincoln.
I cant wait for this again. I still see it being a high car count considering mmsa is non points. Bigger payout and high competion mes it will be another great night. The track has been great as of late as well. Hope everyone can make it to this race
