It would be in your best interest to avoid I-70 at all costs. On my way home from a trip with my girlfriend, I noticed that traffic was backed up on 70 all the way back to the 267 exit (plainfield) going west. I know eastbound has construction also. Highway 40 is a much better route to take. Just thought I would let anyone who might be traveling in this area know.
