Shane Cockrum, Another Double Duty Driver this Weekend at Springfield Mile
Benton, Illinois driver Shane Cockrum is the second driver to be confirmed doing Double Duty this weekend at The Illinois State Fairgrounds. Shane will be piloting the Hardy Boys 114 Foxco Beast Silver Crown Car in the Tony Bettenhausen 100 on Saturday. On Sunday, the Brad Hill Motorsports Ford ARCA Series car #71 in the 50th running of “The Allen Crowe Memorial”.
Saturday August 18th the USAC Silver Crown Series will go wheel to wheel in the Tony Bettenhausen 100. The excitement will begin at 9 a.m. with Silver Crown practice. The UMP Modifieds will be on the card as well with practice at 11 a.m.
Sunday August 19th the ARCA Racing Series will go wheel to wheel in memory of Allen Crowe. The racing action will begin at 9 a.m. with practice. Also in action will be the Sportsman.
