Not fishing for compliments here. Instead I'm wondering if the younger drivers, as well as the older ones, are watching these guys and trying to figure out how they do so well without the megabucks. Then again, maybe they are watching.

Great article.
The Kevin Thomas Jr. crash I saw was a hard one. There was nothing slow about it from what I saw. Man that thing hit the ground hard. Glad to see him get out alright. |

Thanks, LE. Hindsight tells me that I should have said it was a hard landing, as most flips are. The rotation of the car as it tumbled upside down seemed slow to me. That may have been because KT Jr. had scrubbed off a lot of speed.
A few years back D. Holtsclaw ran over a tire and took a bad one at something closer to full speed. His landing(s) were maybe not much harder but he was doing those snap rolls that you hate to see anyone take.
