Not complaining, just wondering. Just went to every sprint week track and see all tracks running 1-3 support classes except LPS? LPS being my favorite track I just wonder why they wouldn't opt for more support?

I would say that this is an experiment of sorts to see if this will fly both financially as well as entertainment wise. Personally I like all types of racing. I assume that the admission price will be the same ($25) for all the stops. If that is the case, for someone like me who enjoys "more racing" then it will be disappointing.

My opinion (which isn't much) is that the down time will not be good and we will have to listen to either music or other "fillers". Personally I would prefer another class to provide the entertainment. Announcers talking don't interest me much.

No support classes will eliminate one thing to complain about for those that think nothing but sprint cars are good enough for them to watch. I like to get more for my money than just 1 class with a lot of down time. I'm sure there will be plenty of other things for the all mighty to complain about. Good luck to all the promotors and race teams this week in their efforts to put on some great shows.

How about they have "Indiana Modified Week" with sprints and midgets as the support classes every night. Just a thought.

Could they finish it in a week?

LPS will probably have 1 support class. One thing learned during Thursday Night Sprints was 1 class gives teams a little extra time to prepare.

What I'm saying isn't the "official" word but my personal thoughts are they should run 1 class. Might as well have someone racing rather than fans watching the dirt dry.

If a track has support class or classes, I hope tracks choose the classes that have the most KNOWN drivers. I mean, I go to PVille and see Richie Lex, Gilpin, Kramer, ect. and others I know, I'll sit there and watch em.

No offense to the other classes, Street stocks Hornets, But they are a totally local venue for the most part. Often the racings as good, But more fans know drivers who get around.

If they were going to do that Bill they should have announced it from the start. IMHO throwing in another class at this point would be bad PR.

I spoke to lps insider and he hinted around saying Bill "THE THRILL" Gardner could be making his debut as a stunt man. Jumping 4 make the 4 tricycles on his golfcart. He is hoping to fly up to 2 1/2' in the air and a distance of 7'. The contract isn't signed yet the attorneys are going though the fine print as we speak. But that could be our entertainment between the races at lps....
