USAC Members would get in for $25 most likely.

Just to give you Indianians some idea why I have trouble getting worked up over the prices when I'm out there, here's the relevant lines from the Stafford Motor Speedway from tomorrow night's show that includes NEMA Midgets, ISMA Supermodifieds, plus Pro-4s (4-cylinder mods). Note that "paddock" is yuppie talk for "pits".

PARTICIPANT PADDOCK PASS: $45.00 ENTRY FEE ~ PADDOCK IS A RESTRICTED AREA
MUST BE 14 TO ENTER PADDOCK AREA
ADULT G.A.: $33.00 (INCLUDES 10% CT ADMISSION TAX)
RESERVED: $35.00 ALL AGES (INCLUDES 10% CT ADMISSION TAX)
KIDS G.A.: $5.00 FOR AGES 6-14 (INCLUDES 10% CT ADMISSION TAX)
CHILDREN 5 & UNDER GENERAL ADMISSION = FREE
PARKING: FREE, LOCATED ON SPEEDWAY GROUNDS, OVERNIGHT PARKING AVAILABLE IN DESIGNATED PARKING AREA

You should see how much NASCRAP charges around here for their modified series, and then they only have like 12-14 races! If they charged only $30 for the pit pass here, they would pack the place. They charge more than that just for general admission. No wonder the tour is hurting while others are growing

im thinking from a promoters point of view, they'd rather have 2 peeps come through the gate at $25-30 ea. vs 1 peep coming through at $45-50 ea...... more peeps = more hot dogs, more refreshments, more t-shirts etc.... Also more peeps provide a more electrifying atmosphere, which makes new peeps wants to go too and be apart of it.
