Just a quick message to any non wingers that may consider coming north of the border for the OTS events. We've heard that many competitors don't realize that our two races this year in Ontario are a double header. On July 20th at Humberstone Speedway (15 minutes north of Buffalo, NY) the OTS competes for our second time there. The next night at South Buxton Raceway near Chatham, ON (about an hour North East of Detroit) we're on again for what we believe will be a historic event. July 21st at South Buxton will be the first time that three different non wing 410 sprint car groups(MTS, BOSS, and OTS) will come together to put on an international race in Canada (as far as we know). We have arranged for discounted rooms at the Comfort Inns in Chatham and St. Thomas, ON. Tourist packages will be handed out to all teams courtesy of Ontario Tourism.
Both races are $1000.00 to win and $250.00 to start CDN funds. Race both nights and finish last in the A Main both nights and you'll still make $500.00. Tow money is $100.00. You can easily exchange your Canadian winnings into US funds at the duty free on the Canadian side of the border before you cross back into the US. Unfortunately, the pain in the butt deal is everyone on your team will need a passport or enhanced driver's license to get over the border.
