Not sure of the story behind it, but I saw Thomas had posted he was doing some winged (I know, I know...) racing tonight at Butler Speedway here in Michigan. So I made a mad dash East picking up my brother and hightailed it to Butler. We missed hot laps, but made it in plenty of time to take in the sprint heats, B main and A... Thomas did great in the Heat starting 8th I believe and worked his way up to 4th earning him a transfer spot to the A.

Thomas got a great redraw and started 3rd in the feature and ran an incredibly smooth race. He settled into the 5th position early on in the race and maintained that position at the end of 25 laps.

I've got some crude handycam video of the heat and feature, but a block from my house I got nailed in the head with a tennis ball sized hunk of concrete some punk "having a good time" threw and don't feel like editing the video at the moment. I'll be sure to post the links tomorrow or Monday..

I would love to see the video you have. Planning on heading back to Butler for another try on Saturday.
