hello IOW! First time poster, long time troller.
Anyone know about this? (off Wikipedia about Larry Nuber)........ During a 1989 "Thunder" broadcast, Nuber and fellow announcer/former racer Steve Chassey got involved in a heated dispute over Rich Vogler which eventually caused both men to be let go by ESPN....... what/which/where race? i used to love Nuber on the Thunder shows and ESPN Speedweek. p.s. have scrounged up a bunch of said Thunder and Speedweek videos to trade if anyone interested |

I Believe it was last Sprint race, chassey had made a comment bout the midget race the week before, there was a accident involving rich, I don't know what was said. I have all Sprint races on tape that year, but no midget. If I remember corectly, Steve butler was in the booth, same nite bettenhousen had to bail from burning car.

Didn't Chassey get hurt in a CART race at Michigan and missed a couple of the TV races.
