Midget racing will return to East Central Indiana on Saturday Night, June 30th, at the Montpelier Motor Speedway. For the event, a provision has been made to the payout for a field of less than 10 midgets with a guaranteed minimum payout of $300 To Win | $75 To Start. The payout will continue to slide up the scale based on car count with a potential $800 To Win | $150 To Start on the line with a full field. The series through 3 races has averaged 15 cars per event with Shane Hollingsworth posting 2 feature wins. Nick Speidel is the most recent midget winner at Montpelier.

Lynsey Tilton will enter the event as the current point’s leader followed by Joe Liguori, Shane Hollingsworth, Nick Speidel, and Kent Kreighbaum.

Mini Sprint drivers looking to run wingless are welcome in the midget division along with midgets powered by Ford Focus, Ecotech, and other engine platforms. The division has an open tire rule and features weight breaks based upon powerplants.

Montpelier Motor Speedway CANCELLED for June 30th.

Due to the forecast for excessive heat and concern for our drivers, crews, and fans the races for June 30th have been cancelled. Also, the current water level of the water source used for watering the track is excessively low. The speedway is actively seeking a solution for the low water that will be in place by July 7th

We will attempt to reschedule the missing midget date. If anyone has any thoughts on a good date (we race through Octobe), please let me know.
