TONY STEWART NIGHT WITH KENNY WALLACE AT TERRE HAUTE ACTION TRACK TUESDAY JUNE 19


(Terre Haute, IN) Tuesday June 19th, get ready to welcome home Indiana’s own NASCAR titan Tony Stewart. Also joining Tony will be NASCAR star and TV personality Kenny Wallace. Terre Haute Action Track will kick off the Night of NASCAR Stars with a full program of racing. Come out to the Terre Haute Action Track to get your chance to see Tony and Kenny race their UMP Modifieds. Plus you won’t want to miss the wild action of the MSCS Sprint Cars as they take to the legendary half mile oval for the crowd on Tony Stewart Night with Kenny Wallace.

Pick a racing series. Choose a style of race car. Name a venue. Chances are Tony Stewart has proven victorious. The driver of the No. 14 Office Depot/Mobile 1 is now racing for his own team, Stewart Haas Racing in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Since Tony started his Nascar career, he has scored 12 championships since he first wheeled a go-kart at a Westport, IN. race track in 1978. Tony is a three-time Sprint Cup Series champion winning in 2002, 2005 and in 2011. Tony joined the NASCAR circuit by way of IRL IndyCar Series, where he was series champion in 1997. Stewart has raced just about everything including USAC’s top three national touring divisions; Midget, Sprint and Silver Crown. He is the first and only driver to have won championships in stock cars, Indy cars and open-wheel Midget, Sprint and Silver Crown cars. “When I started racing competitively when I was about seven or eight, getting a trophy that was bigger than the other kids’ was all I cared about,” said Stewart, who entered his 14th year in the Sprint Cup Series

The ever popular Kenny Wallace has Nationwide Series accomplishments which include nine wins, ten poles, and ten seasons in the top ten in driver points. Kenny also has over 340 starts in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Kenny has also found success in the world of television. He is the co-host of two programs for SPEED TV each week; NASCAR RaceDay and NASCAR Victory Lane. With Kenny’s competitive battles on the racetrack and popularity on television, he has become one of the most sought after drivers in NASCAR racing today for sponsor endorsements and speaking engagements.

Gates open at Terre Haute Action Track on June 19th at 4:00 PM, Racing starts at 7:00 PM.
