Adam Cruea served in the United States Army the past five years in the 82nd Airborne Division at Ft. Bragg, NC. He was a Sergeant in the Infantry and served as a Squad Leader in which he led his 9 man squad on two deployments in Afghanistan. He put his racing career on hold to serve our country.

Now that he has been honorably discharged from the service, he is now able to pursue his racing career. Adam had a successful test at Lawrenceburg and plans to compete in his very first sprint car race at Lawrenceburg on Saturday, April 28th. He will be practicing at Waynesfield on Saturday, April 21st and this is where he will be mainly running. When his schedule permits, Adam will run at Lawrenceburg, Kokomo, Eldora and Bloomington.

Please go to www.facebook.com/adamcruearacing to learn more about Adam.

Stop by and see us at the races!!

Thanks,
Lisa Lengerich

I am already a fan....thank you for you service sir...best of luck in your racing career...just apply the work ethic and discipline you learned in the military and you will have quite the head start on most other rookies...

TO the rest of the sprintcar fans in this country...lets get on board to support this fine person any way we can...we owe him a debt that can never be repaid.

This soldier reminds me of the soldiers of WW2. Off to battle ,and when the battle is done, off to racing. Thank you soldier and good luck.

On behalf of Adam, thank you for the kind words and messages that we have received. We appreciate your support. If you get a chance, stop by and introduce yourselves at Waynesfield tomorrow (April 21st) or at Lawrenceburg next Saturday (April 28th). Our tentative schedule can be found on Adam's facebook page. God Bless the USA!!

We had to send off a very close member of our family to Korea last month as he serves our Country. He spent plenty of nights with us at the Gulick household. Grant and Coleman consider him a brother and Jill and I love him like a Son. We were at the Airport when he said good bye to his Family on his way overseas. It was a tough Good Bye. We have to say good bye to another one of our "Kids" this fall when he heads into the Marines; not looking forward to that either. My cousin is still serving at 51 years old due to still being "upset" (mild statement) over 9-11. I come from a Family of Veterans, including my Father who returned from the service and helped support our Family Racing on Friday's and Saturdays.

Adam, we thank you for your service. The day of honoring so many that serve/served our Country seem to be "a thing of the past". But not to us. Please stop by our pit any time for a Shirt. Although you are now a "fellow competitor" (proudly stating that fact), we would be very proud if you wore one of our shirts. And, if you need anything when we are racing at the same track, please see us. We will be glad to help you with whatever you need. And, most importantly, stop by and just say Hello. It would be a privilege to meet you. Even if I am not there, Coleman, Brian and Team CGR would be glad to help. BTW; one of the Greatest to ever race a 410 Sprint Car is a huge fan of young Vets like you; Stop by the 21 pit and introduce yourself to him too..

Best of luck in your coming racing efforts. We want to beat every competitor we race; however if we race with you, it will be a pleasure whether we win or lose to you. God Bless...

Pete Gulick and Team CGR.
