I am guessing this will cause some of you some heartburn as you try to go to and from Lawrenceburg (when it opens) or Florence Speedway or who knows where else.....
Most of the ramps at the I-74/ I-275 interchange in western Hamilton County are closed after a semi struck the pillar of an overpass there. Artimis reports that just before 7 p.m. a truck carrying an oversized load struck the overpass where southbound I-275 goes under I-74. According to Artimis, the ramp from westbound I-74 to southbound I-275 (Exit 5) to the Airport, Kentucky and Indiana is closed. The ramp from northbound I-275 to westbound I-74 (to Harrison and Indiana) is also closed. Artimis also reports that eastbound I-74 is closed at I-275 – but that all traffic must exit to southbound I-275 (to Airport, Kentucky and Indiana). :headbang

Rich, If you are heading west to indy, you will be fine on the way there. On your way home you will need to find another route.
Have fun, Dave |

Drove through this interchange today. The only restrictions are that the east bound 74 traffic is being moved over to the west bound 74 lane bridge. One lane east, two lanes west. All of the ramps from/tp 74/275 are functioning thanks to a temporary bridge support in place.

Very easy, Not really distance difference but about ten minutes each way difference.
From 74 East (From indiana) take Indiana 1 at St. Leon south to Rt. 50 From 74 West take SR 128 at Miamitown south to Rt. 50 west. This area will be opened and closed periodically and if you are running late to the track with one lane traffic at the 75/275 overpass in both directions Traffic from 3-6pm will be insane on 74. Chuck, hoping it openes for the Midwest Allstar dates. The river is dropping, Periodic showers but no downpour conditions. They may get her done, Then again, They may not.
