Yes he is. Saw an article that says he just wasn't having fun in a Sprint Car any more and was looling for a new challenge. He's driving a new C.J. Rayburn race car Red #11. I was watching Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series practice from Eastbay a couple hours ago and he looked pretty darn good running low 15 second laps. I've had the privilege of having seen him in a late model before and have to say he did quite well the one time I saw him.

Read Bowman's article from the Kokomo paper -- Shane is pursuing sprint car deals and a dirt Champ Car ride in addition to the late model ride which he now has. He thinks he can win another Kokomo track sprint car championship. That does not sound like a guy who is not "having fun in a Sprint Car any more" as is stated above.
