What happened between Usac and Vigo Co. Fair. The ISW race during the fair was one of the trips several of us looked forward to. Being a farm kid from Indiana, I like combining fair and racing? I would have thought the fair could have used all the extra money from race fans....

I think he's talking about the Vigo County Fair being July 8th-14th and the Sprint Week date at THAT being July 18th.

Contrary to popular belief around here, neither one of those entities (USAC and WVFA) are the other's top priority. USAC has to pick dates which best fit the schedules of their drivers, teams and fans. Those are their customers. And the fair board has to schedule the fair on the dates that best suit the 4-H and the agricultural community. That's who they serve. Personally, I like it when the race is held at the same time as the fair. It just adds something to the whole event, IMO. It's not going to always happen, though.
