I believe I have made it clear that BOSS will schedule races within 1 hour of the Ohio border. Mercer is the farthest out of state we will travel this year for a points race. It is approximately an hour and 10 minutes between Wayne County and Mercer. BOSS is negotiating with hotels in the Akron area to get teams a deal on rooms.

JTS, where are you all based out of? For my supporters in the northeast Ohio area, they can complain about the Southern Ohio Speedway/Lawrenceburg weekend.

I am looking forward to running with boss again this year and can't wait to start back at wcs. Hope to pick up right where we left off last year there. As far as the comment about closer races, I think you should wait for the whole schedule to come out and then see what you see. As far as I can see, it looks like Mercer is only about an hour and half away from wayne county. Let's not bash someone for going out and starting up a series to bring nonwing sprint racing to more people. It takes alot of guts and determination to get tracks to give a new series a shot. I have enjoyed both boss shows we ran last year in the Lee's Hydraulics 37k and look forward to hopefully running all of them this season. Good luck to Aaron and BOSS.

You will like the schedule overall. There will be a few road trips, but most of the schedule will be a reasonable ride for you.

Trust me, opening weekend May 18-19 will be your longest trip and I made it a 2 day deal to ease the pain.

Hope to see you out with us!
