Just curious if anybody has heard anything more on if Farmer City is still planning on running non wing sprints in 2012?

I've heard that they will be, but they will be on Sundays. Not sure if this is weekly.

I'll give it a shot for you:

He lives near Farmer City, there are farmers all around Farmers City, and if he goes to the races all of his buddies will go also thus keeping Farmer City Speedway in business.

But are they running sprints for him and his buddies to watch?

They only have a partial schedule out right now. The only sprint show on the schedule as of right now is the World of Outlaws. It hasn't mentioned anything about non wing sprints or what they're running. It's one of those deals "I'll believe it when I see it". They have always been late model guys. Also with the MOWA series in central Illinois thats proving to be a strong series, they could change they're mind. I run with the series, and a lot of the guys here in Illinois that run with the series pretty much stick to just the winged cars. As of right now their is no track in Illinois running weekly winged sprints this year. They might run the winged cars weekly because their is alot of them around here in Illinois. I'm not saying that would happen, but it could.
