Brady Bacon and Donny Schatz topped more than 120 drivers in 2010 as they became Champions of the Western World’s 43rd edition. Bacon, one of 12 to compete in both Wing and Wingless competition, picked up $5000 by winning the Non Wing portion and joined Donny Schatz as he collected the $15,000 check and etched his name onto the winners list for second time by winning the ASCS National Western World Championship.

As we approach the fall and most of the country succumbs to the cold and snow, racing action will again heat up with the much anticipated 44th running of the Western World Championships. Close to one hundred and thirty top Sprint Car teams from around the country are expected to migrate to warmer climates for their final chance at a big payday and another opportunity to add their name to prestigious list of winners.

Both the winged and wingless forces will tackle USA Raceway's 3/8-mile clay oval for three nights on November 17th, 18th and 19th, with more than $100,000 in "A" Feature money alone distributed over the course of the blockbuster event. A $15,000 share awaits the winner of the Lucas Oil ASCS Western World Champion, while the ASCS Canyon Region conqueror will pocket $5,000.

Looks like all the nonwing drivers on the left and wing on the right (with a few exceptions).

The following is based on cars I have seen at Canyon and Perris. It is possible that # and/or color may change for USA. I have used the abbreviation bl for blue and b for black.

CAR#/Color; DRIVER; DRIVER'S HOME TOWN
#1 (bl,w); Sussex, Stevie; Laveen AZ
#4 (b); Hines, Tracy; Wilkinson IN
#6 (b); Clark, Ronnie; Tucson AZ
#7K (grey,or); St. James, Bruce; Phoenix AZ
#8 (y); Ream, Bob; Glendale AZ
#9 (b); Linder, Ryan; Phoenix AZ
#9S (w,b); Shelton, Johnny; Prescott AZ
#12A (or); Pelkey, Josh; Peoria AZ
#16 (b,r); Martin, Mike; Yuma AZ
#18; Bruce Jr., Tony ; Liberal KS
#19 (w,bl); Reinbold, Andy; Gilbert AZ
#20 (b,w); Jones, Levi; Brownsburg IN
#27N; Aiuto, Nick; Camp Verde AZ
#37 (b,bl); Mitchell, Matt; Yorba Linda CA
#48 (b); Ogle, Tom; Surprise AZ
#50 (or), Davis Jr., Charles; Buckeye AZ
#50 (r); Spencer, Mike; Temecula CA
#51 (w); Johnson, R.J.; Phoenix AZ
#74; Williams, Derek; Phoenix AZ
#77 (b,w), Gabbard, Dalton; Peoria AZ
#88 (b, or); Crawley, Tim; Memphis TN (Just guessing he didn't change from the past few years)
#93 (b); Quinn, Justin; Phoenix AZ
#99 (w,bl); Bacon, Brady; Sapulpa OK

That leaves Jeremy Sherman, Rex Calderwood, Jerry Coons Jr., Jody Williams, Jon Stanbrough (don't know if he is going to run the blue #53 he had at Perris or another), Rick Ziehl, Brandon Lane, Ronnie Smith, Stephen Spiak, James Aragon, Brian Hosford, Joshua Hodges, Brian Swinehart, Chris Bonneau, Dustin Morgan, Carson Ditsch, Jeff Swindell, Seth Bergman, Zach Chappell, Alex Pettas and Kyle McCutcheon. I know what some of them ran last year but don't want to make any erroneous assumptions. Any help appreciated. I will make changes to this list as I get them. Thanks,.
