Looking for a Winters Quick Change Transmission for a restoration project. Let me know what you have, where you are located, and how much you need. Thanks

It was a transfer case type of part that bolted onto the back of a normal 4 speed.. It allowed the guys that were made to run (' rear ends a way to still use QC gears to change ratio.. It was also used by some of the much smarter guys to move a lot of wait to polar moment and use a very light 9" housing.. Would have been mid 80's timeframe.

I don't recall Winters ever having anything like that available, the early racers, 40's and up, used a "quick change" of sorts, that was installed in the driveline, and allowed you to change one gear, and effect the final ratio, those were made by a lot of manufacturers, Ansen for one, probably Crager, I even had one that had been homebuilt, and it worked well, had a sun gear on the back side, and a slider gear you could change, that completed the circuit, altho it wasn't very "quick", it did alow for changing the final drive ratio. I see one every once in a while on ebay. Bob!
