(Gardena, CA, July 14, 2011) Greg Alexander will return to the cockpit of the familiar Chuck Tyler Motorsports #72 Sprint Car when the USAC West Coast 360 Series returns to action after nearly two months off this Saturday night, July 16th, at Giant Chevrolet Kings Speedway in Hanford, California. In addition to Saturday's regular Jim Evett Memorial program, Alexander will also be in action in the makeup for the March 18th rained out main event. For the rained out main Alexander is eligible to start fifth, but could move up if any of the racers slated to start in front of him do not attend the race. For the regular portion of the program, the 22-year-old Gardena, California resident and all of the other competitors will have to qualify and contest preliminary races to determine where they will start in the main event. Heading into Saturday's show on the 3/8 of a mile clay oval, Alexander, who will be in the pretty Trench Shoring, Barnes Systems, Sander Engineering, Amsoil, Tyler Pool Service, Tyler Family Farms, Kings Racing Products #72, is ranked sixth in the championship standings. However, the likeable driver is only 21-points out of third. With the 2011 season already in its second half, Alexander has let it be known that he hopes to get a ride contesting some Sprint Car races in the hotbed of the sport, Indiana. Anybody interested in contacting him regarding a ride in the Midwest can do so by using the contact information at the top or bottom of this release. Spectator gates will open at 5:00 PM on Saturday and the first race will be at 6:30.
