ERC racing manufacture Allen Rupenthal once provided opportunity for many young drivers to compete in mini sprint racing. Allen believed that racing brought families close together and provided enjoyment amongst those who competed. While struggling to afford to race Allen offered this opportunity to my family and others. In a joint venture we had three cars owned by ERC and operated by Bradley Racing. My Father, Brother and I drove them representing ERC and Allen. We had three unbelievable seasons with Allen and ERC resulting in many wins and the first two MMSA Championships. Sadly we lost our car owner and friend to a un win-able fight with cancer at the end of last year's season. We are very grateful of Allen's goodwill, and intend on continuing his tradition by helping young drivers get started in achieving their goals not only on the track but in life. The purpose of this opportunity is not to win races or display racing skill, it is to help build and develop responsibility, work ethic, and planning skills.
We are proud to award the driving sponsorship to rookie driver Alec Sipes for the 2011 racing season. Although Alec is a rookie in the mini-sprint class, he is seasoned racer. *He has raced go-karts competitively since the age of 10, primarily at Ben Hur Speedway in Crawfordsville, Indiana. * Alec is a 17 years old and lives in Bloomfield, Indiana. He is a senior at White River Valley High and is a great student at the top of his class. Alec is the Vice-President of his high school's FFA Chapter, very active in 4-H, and a dedicated race fanatic. *He volunteered most of his summer last year helping Bill May at the MMSA races. Alec will drive the 99 ERC car for remainder of the 2011 season, but due to Alec's school and extra-curricular activities, he may miss a few races in which we will replace him for those events. Alec had his first mini-sprint start at Bloomington Speedway back in May, and he did a great job racing cleanly to his first feature start. *We expect good things from this rookie. I wanted to get this together earlier but due to the loss of my old job and the rigmarole of my new job I have been unable to be around or attend hardly any racing however... We wish Alec luck in his first Mini Sprint Week, and I hope to see you all soon at a MMSA race! -Andy Bradley Posted using Mobile Device |

my sentiments precisely....it's great to know that there are still people out there who will give someone a chance to EARN a ride versus buying a ride... Thank you Bradley racing..I don't know you guys but I hope I get to shake your hand someday. |
