Appears that USAC has more eyes than a fly. Jason Smith and his lackeys gave USAC another black eye with this incredible lack of judgement.

Hey USAC

I thought these idiots were going to get somebody killed. Mistake #1 they said that they cut the track before the rain the night before. The turns were desert dry and rock hard . Mistake#2 they were trying to iron the track with a tractor and a fertilizer truck. the tractor was getting some compaction, but the truck was driving too fast and just slinging.Mistake#3 let's get the road grader and take the mud off of the top and move it off of the track with a skid steer.Besides wasting a lot of time and what little moisture on the track was now lost.Mistake #4 They ran the water truck quickly around the outside possibly putting down a few gallons of water which quickly evaporated. If you had been to two races in your life you would have noticed that the turns were ridiculously dry and dusty, and they was a hole on the front stretch made by the road grader starting with the blade tilted. Mistake#5 Somebody Okayed the race to be started. Then it became apparent that nobody could see ,then Fike is flipping on the back stretch. They cleared the track and ended up calling the race.

Interview with Thomas one of the best I've ever seen.Very well spoken, glad he's ok.Easy to see what two of the nicest car owners in the country see in him.Gained at least one new fan here.

Hey, at least you could see during the parade laps! I sure am glad no one got hurt!

From the looks of Measurall's cage behind him in the interview, looks like there could have been another Shane Hmeil type accident happen at the same track! THANK GOD that that did not happen again!!!

I don't understand "the show must go on mentality!" I'm sure the fans would have rather waited for the proper track prep to be done rather than not being able to see the damn race!

Same here. Would be nice if he could bypass the USAC mess and go straight to Busch or whatever his career goals are.

Glad you all are liking my video. T-Mez was a great interview and kept it surprislingly clean for what he COULD'VE said. It was CRAZY to witness this in person. My friend Shane Cockrum wasn't able to get his motor fired for qualifying so he started this mess outside of the last row! I called him on my drive home and asked, "How was that"?. He replied, "Run your car up to about 100mph, get a big pack of cars on the interstate, and then ALL of you turn your lights off...that about captures how we felt in those cars today". WOW

I was thinking the same thing. To speak his feelings the way he did, without loosing his cool, was awesome. I think anyone watching the clip, can tell what he really wanted to say. I also can't believe they started that race. It reminded me of the ISMA race that they tried running in dense fog earlier this season. Just scary, and unfair to the drivers, and those paying the equipment bills.
