2011 Midget #s and Drivers

I thought that a list of midgets might be helpful during Indiana Midget Week. The following list of midget drivers and the numbers of cars they have driven on dirt this year is taken from the USAC and POWRi web sites. Since POWRi only gives car numbers for some, but not all, of their races, the list is incomplete. I also understand that many of the POWRi drivers will not compete during IMW for reasons thoroughly discussed on other threads. I also know that other drivers (like Steve Buckwalter) will be here. I will attempt to update it during IMW. If anyone knows of someone who will be here who is not on the list, please post that information.

Pickens won tonight at Brownstown, IL . Loyet 2nd, Brown 3rd. Did not see Daum or Cockrum. 45 midgets on hand.

Now that's disappointing to hear, right there. Especially after watching the way you raced in that car, during the Hut Hundred. And also during Midget Week at Gas City, last year. If anybody has a good midget ride open for next week, put this guy in it. The fans will appreciate you for it.

In a nutshell, USAC changed their engine regulations and POWRi didn't and therefore POWRi engines aren't legal in USAC this year. If this is incorrect, please correct me.

I've been told that the POWRi officials aren't interested in running the USAC mandated rev limiters.....
