USAClive: Robert Ballou wins Heat 1 over Windom Fitzpatrick Gardner Darland...Hughes Gulick Swanson Simmons

I sure hope New Egypt track people gave USAC a better surface to run on than that crap we had to endure at Lincoln last night. Was that field dirt they ran on last night or are they that totally inept at track prep?

Just recieved word that the B Main cars must run but will all transfer to the "A" Main event.

Glad to see Coleman Gulick back tonight! Go Coleman, we are here in Florida rooting for you! Hope to see you in Lawrenceburg this summer.

Last year, at some of the races where they had only enough cars for three heats, even though five transferred out of each heat, you still had to finish in the top 4 to be included in the invert. If this is the case tonight then that would move Bloom back to 7th and put Damion Gardner on the pole. But, according to USACLive Bloom is on the pole, so that must not being how they're doing it tonight.
