LEARY WINS AT TWIN CITIES RACEWAY PARK

CJ Leary of Greenfield, Ind. was the feature winner on Saturday May 28th when the Midwest TQ Racing League presented by Vincennes University competed at the Twin Cities Raceway Park in Vernon, Ind.

Leary, the 2010 MTQRL Tony Stewart Racing Rookie of the Year, passed polesitter Jason Willis on lap 2 and went on to lead the final 19 laps scoring his fourth MTQRL feature win of his career. Defending champion Tate Martz came home second followed by Willis, Rick Robinson (from his 20th starting position), and Chris Mann.

Heat winners were Willis, Tim Lynch and Leary. Five rookies competed with Cody Kiewitt’s sixth place finish earning him the Tony Stewart Rookie of the Race honors.

The MTQRL returns to action on Saturday June 4th at the Rush County Fairground in Rushville, Ind.
