Just wanted to say thank you to EVERYONE who was able to contribute to the Red Cross relief fundraising efforts tonight, so many great fans and competitors reached out to help out tonight at LPS, and from the sounds of things everyone over at the Lawrenceburg did the same. I thank you all, we will be able to make a large impact in the relief efforts here in our country with all of us joining together and giving what we can.
We didn't have a very good night on the racing side of things, dropped a valve pushing out for the B-main, after being WAY too tight in the heat race, I feel awful for the Hurst guys, this early in the year no good to have engine issues, thankfully it happened at an idle so hopefully it didn't do too much damage.
Still, I left the track smiling knowing we had done something wonderful tonight to help others, and even though we won't be racing now at Tri-State tomorrow.. I will be there, helmet in hand to continue what we've started here.
Thanks all so much for being so generous and reaching deep to help those in need. It means so much to so many.
Thank you for setting it up! And to the drivers who participated. A couple making the extra effort to make Burg's backstretch Well done. If it puts a few shirts on peoples back, Thats more than they had left.
