USAC Midget Triple Header Tonight at the Indianapolis Speedrome!

USAC Mopar D1, Ford Focus and Focus Young Guns Midgets are ready to battle tonight on the tight 1/5-mile bullring at the Indianapolis Speedrome. Tickets are just $10 each for adults, kids 12 and under are FREE!!

Pit Gates open at 4pm
Practice at 5:30pm
Racing at 7:15pm

I am headed there now (20 min ETA) and I hope this doesn't turn out like the time I went to Kokomo a couple years ago and tornado winds hit after the heat races.

There seems to be a blanket of dry over Indy for now, though. We'll see......

I left the parking lot with pouring down rain, tornado sirens and lightning. I'm guessing they've called the race.

So much for updates from Speedrome tonite!!......

That's ok. I heard that a 2 car heat was on the track when it started raining.

Around 30 cars total from the different classes. I'm a wuss when it comes to inclement weather, but there were quite a few die hard racers and fans who came out with no fear of the impending severe weather!!! To live in a community with so many people who love racing makes me proud to be a fan of Indiana open wheel racing!
