Violent tornado touches down near Canton, moving along I44 right up towards Guthrie. They are saying west and north west Oklahoma City all of Edmond, Seward and Guthrie are in danger. They are saying it is on the ground in Chickasha at the Bailey Turnpike at 5:08 P. M. there time. Pray for the them!

Prayers for sure and a lot of help. Those poor people have been hammered. I wouldn't expect a spate of financial aid from our neighboring countries or worldwide allies.

Think I was in shock when I started this thread or at least couldn't spell. Maybe it had something to do with my brother reminding me my original plan was to be heading east right now so I could do some of that dirt track racing in Indiana this week. Those plans changed at the end of April due to health issues with my sister and I arrived in N. Y. May 7th.. My trip was pretty uneventful compared to the weather I have been watching play out over the past two days, much of it effecting the route I travel to N.Y.. My heart aches for those living in the heartland of our country and prayers continue to be sent their way.
Everyone pay attention to the weather in your area over the next several days and stay safe. Patti |
