What would you put on?
Car Laps Winnings track I would USAC Amsoil Sprint cars 100 lap race with a 1/2 way 10 minute red flag to refuel and new tires only (or earlier depending on red/caution flags and I am really guessing on how far they could go on fuel) and yellow flags would count up until lap 90. Winner would get 50k. Second place would get 25k, third place would get 10k. Everyone starting in any main would get 1,000 for starting. First person with engine trouble would get a brand new engine. Everyone showing up with get a free right rear tire. OF course it would be at the Action Track.

The 4 major miles (Duquoin,Indy,Springfield,Syracuse) with the silver crown cars, call it the "Mile Masters Series" 25,000 to win each, 18,000 for second, 12,000 for 3rd, 3,000 to start, points champion for the four races gets 250,000 and a 1,000,000 bonus to win all four.
I'd love to add Cal Expo as a 5th but I'm not sure that would be feasible |

Well, unlimited budget huh ? First off it would be 1 million to the winner. Think of it in the realm of other sports and thats nothin. Mine would be a open national type event, held over the course of a week or slightly less and every night would pay big. No rule 410s, except for weight limit, and the safety stuff. I shouldnt have to say it, but nonwing of course. The top point earner thru the week gets a 100,000.00 bonus and the oppourtunity to start last. Other top nine draw for spots. 30 lap main, just like god intended. p.s. It would be held on my track, which would be a shrine to the racing gods.

410 non wing
30 laps @kokomo $115,000 purse Hotlaps Qualifying - top 16 automatically transfer to a main. 2 dashes of 8 cars - pull pills for starting spots, first dash for odd qualified cars, second for even. Finishing order determines a main line up. Alphabet soup until the b main for the final 4 starting spots. NO PROVISIONALS 30 lap main for 50k to win, 25k 2nd, 12.5k 3rd, 7.5k 4th 5k 5th, 1000 tow money for rest of the a main starters. You'd have to unload fast to have a chance! Posted via Mobile Device |
