I know we are a couple days away but anyone know what the track and pits are like? I know we have had a lot of rain last couple days and forecast is finally looking good for the weekend

I have not driven by the track, but there has been a lot of rain in Kokomo (as well as everywhere else in the midwest) Theres water in places that usually do not have water. Plus, weather.com says 60% chance of rain on Sunday.....

Try sending the track an e-mail. I might have got lucky but i sent an e-mail asking a question a couple weeks ago and i got a response in less than an hour. I think it was Rob Goodman who sent me a response, i might have caught him when he was online but it's worth a shot.

No problem. I think it was a Saturday morning when i sent my e-mail so my timing was probably lucky.

Like a lot of the tracks the track is ok (due to some thinking ahead) the parking lots are holding water. This afternoon they were pumping water and working to get things dried out. Kokomo has rain forecast for tonight, Sunday and Monday. I know for a fact like the other speedways in Indiana the O'Connor's are trying everything they can to get a safe show in. Hopefully the geese that took over the south lot will be the only ones unhappy Sunday.
