Chasing info and experiences straight front hubs for Midget.

Have a red devil right hub that has copped a whack during an incident on track. 1 side of hub requires straightening. 3 bolts/ spokes screw up to the wheel 2 spokes are slightly bent back.

Have you repaired a hub of similar damage before.

Still ran hub for the meeting with no dramas. there was a slight noticable wobble in the front at low speed.

Any help appreciated.

Hey Phil it really is pretty easy to do so long as the bend isn't too bad. Done a few over the years now. Just need a decent press, some blocks of timber, a decent clamp and some patience.

Take the bolts out and finish it up on a brake lathe... Watch that magnesium dust though... It doesn`t take much of a flame to set it off..
