New into big sprints from mini sprints. Trying to understand what rims to run on rear of Maxim. Is a 17 a standard RR and go to the 18 to free car up more? On LR the 15 standard and 14 to tighten up? Wing and non wing situations. Will be running 1/4 mile semi banked drislick tracks.
Thanks
JR

nobody answered your question....I'll try to help. First off this ain't a mini sprint...think big...if you take a 18" and a17" wheel and mount the same rr with the same air presure and measure the circumference...there is almost no difference...when you think of stagger change- think 2" or more...you want to 'free ' the car up move the rr out 1"//sprint cars can be a challenge ..if I were you ...I'd work the pits for a year and learn all I could...when racers see your interested-they'll teach you ...could save a lot of money and frustration pluss you'll make some friends...Good Luck
