Thanks for sharing the link, wish they would have included more information in the article as to where the track is actually being built. Earlier info I saw on the track said south of 60, on my last trip to Tucson I saw a grandstand on the south side of I10 just past the drag strip area. I didn't remember that grandstand being there before. Casey Shuman has reported seeing plans of the track in the past maybe he could shed some light on the location for those of us not familiar with allot of the east side of the valley? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Patti

Hers is a link to the track website with directions and info...looks like it has a motocross track already. Patti might be able to shed some light on exactly where this is.

Patti,
The grandstands you saw at Firebird are for the off-road track. They have already held at least one event that I know of. I'm pumped about the new track. An open practice has been announced for next Saturday,March 5th. ET Motopark has a website that has a map and directions to the track.Glad you're feeling better, see you soon.

Thanks Joe, Joey will be running at Canyon March 5th, so I don't think I will get to check this new track out for practice. I wondered if the granstands I saw were part of Firebird thanks for clearing that up. Thanks Joe, I am feeling better and next week marks the end of the six week recovery period they gave me, just in time to go racing. Look forward to seeing you.

Thanks for the link. I am a west valley girl and not that familiar with Appache Junction but I am sure my GPS and I will find this new track at some point.

Website states that this is a 1/3rd mile... Anyone else think it looks bigger than that?

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe it was the nice bright sunshine and blue skies (that we never seem to have in Southwestern Ohio) that confused me!!

A post on the ET website awhile back said that the track is 1760 ft. in the center.I agree that in the pictures it looks bigger than a third.
