Has anyone else been following this since yesterday....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PCxb3...eature=related When I first seen it, holy crap. Cliff notes *homeless guy on the street with sign saying he has a radio voice *newspaper reporter shoots a video about a month ago. *Yesterday, he uploads it to youtube *was on a radio station this morning *youtube video has over 3 million views *has thousands of jobs offers It really isn't his story about what happened since yesterday, but this guys life. (from what I seen) *went to school for voice over work *drugs and alocohol ruins his life, has been arrested for crimes in the past *been clean and sober for 2 and 1/2 years and also has rededicated his life to Christ The last thing gets me, everyone makes mistakes, but what you do to fix it later in life is what matters. Anyway, some of the big offers I heard *10k dollar voice over contract *15k dollar voice over contract *Cleveland Cavielers has offered him a full time job and a home *someone has offered to fly him out to Hawaii to have him voice over a 60 second commercial (paid for everything) I been listening to his radio appearance for about 30 minutes now. This guy is a real down to earth person with a voice that is worth a lot. What really got me is that tonight, he flew home to Brooklyn, NY to see his 92 year old mother who he wanted to see after he rebounded his life. This story is just amazing and how the internet is a good thing with all the bad things the internet brings out also. His radio appearance this morning (there is 19 segments to it) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KIWWb..._order&list=UL

And, I wonder just how many people drove by the man with God's Gift with their nose in the air and the attitude why doesn't that jerk just go get a job as he tried to pick himself up. Remember the reporter's comment that he was going to make the fellow work for his dollar.

This guy is so good, even people are digging into his past and bringing it up. Congrats Ted Williams, you are a celebrity. The guy had legal trouble, and for all I know, could still be in it, but I believe this guy is genuine and really justs wants to get back on his feet. He wasn't asking for a video to be made or all this up roar about him being made. All he wanted was a job and an apt. so he could cook his own meals.
Something that did come up is that sometimes when he was peddling, he would get 30 dollars an hour. He will be getting more then that now, and will pay taxes on it. Hopefully he keeps on the clean track of being drugs and alcohol free (as it seems) and makes a good living. If the voice over work ends, he has a great career in public speaking begging him since his story is very inspiring to listen to. |

Read the Cleveland Cav's have gave this guy a job and a house. No word on what the job will be, but think this story has been developing for awhile.

They did offer him a job and a home, but no word on what he is doing. I imagine he will have hundreds, if not thousands of offers. If he was smart, he would get an agent, then get a place where he can have a studio and do free lance work. With his voice, he can make millions in a few years.
