Just Google "Greg Leffler", and you find out a lot about him. He is a second cousin of mine, and that's the only way I could find out anything about him. He owns a business in Ft Wayne. Been going to call him, but just keep forgetting. Bob

Greg owns First Gear in Fort Wayne. He makes custom and small production gears and splines. Great guy and as far as I know doesn't really have anything to do with racing anymore. Always liked talking to him about his years at Indy in the early 80's.

Yes, Greg does own and run First-Gear Corp in Ft. Wayne. He started the company when he sold his other Company Hyperco / Hypercoil Springs to Mathew Warren in Logansport in the late 90's.
He is doing well and we still keep in close touch.
I worked for Greg at Hyperco from 1988-1994 and had a great time doing so. Lots of learning and lots of good stories.
It was also fun to get to help his Dad Paul when he made a couple more of the Leffler Pavement Cars before he passed away in the early nineties.
He has been to the last couple Oldtimers weekends at Winchester.
