I'm in the process of putting together a 92 Reeves midget and looking for engine ideas. This won't be a competitive car, just one to go to some vintage races and have a good time.:Steer Also, I'm trying to keep the cost down as much as possible. Any ideas??

I would say a VW would be your best gamble but I haven't heard of any for sale anywhere, I'll keep an open ear.

My dad does vintage stuff so he might have an idea. We have a 52 Kurtis Kraft that we take out. Good times.

Chevy II stuff is relatively inexpensive and seems readily available. If you go to midgetmadness.com and look in the classifieds, you'll see some stuff. Also on midgetmadness.com, if you click on all the clubs listed there, most midget club websites have a classifieds section on them. The "sportsman" clubs are a good source for cheaper midget engines if cost is a concern. Hope this helps you. :Steer
