I just compared sprint car purses for Bloomington, Lawrenceburg, and Kokomo for 2010. I noticed the top six at these three tracks look like this:
Lawrenceburg Kokomo Bloomington 1. 1500 1400 1400 2. 800 875 850 3. 600 700 650 4. 450 625 550 5. 350 500 450 6. 320 400 350 225 155 200 To Start Lawrenceburg claims to have the highest paying sprint car purse in Indiana, but it's thin for 4-6th. Guys racing 4-6th at Lawrenceburg are racing very hard for that kind of payoff at that kind of track. Bloomington isn't bad, and Kokomo is pretty good for 4-6th. Come on Lawrenceburg put up some more money in positions 4-6th, and maybe you can really claim to have the highest paying purse in Indiana, and not just at the top, and at the bottom. SPD 37 |

I am sure that Dave would be happy to accept your check to cover the additional payout that you are asking for. It seems many want more money but the line is short to help cover these extra payouts. How much are you willing to pay to help at the pay window?
![]() Using the figures you posted, if you add ALL 20 positions together, Lawrenceburg has the highest paying sprint car purse of the three tracks.

What is the pay if you miss the A Main at all the tracks?

Wow, Knoxville pays 17th on back what the non wing tracks pay for 3rd or 4th. Do they pack the place weekly?

Knoxville also has the Nationals to subsidize the rest of their season

Racefan20...Knoxville also has a corporate sponsor for their races every Saturday night ie. Pella Windows, Hy-Vee, Pizza Hut, etc.
These sponsors have to bump up the weekly purse but I don't know by how much. |
